Different Dog Breeds, Breeders and breeding info

There are hundreds of different breeds of dogs and the most common mistake people make in having a dog is choosing the wrong breed. Active running dogs in apartments, fighting dogs as family pets. While it’s true you can get dogs that are renowned as troublesome and have no problems at all the best bet, especially for those that do not know all there is to know, is to stick with a breed that was breed for a purpose that suits your lifestyle, rather than try to bend the dog around your lifestyle.

The smartest way is to choose from how a dog acts, rather than how it looks.

The AKC Board of Directors has the authority to add a breed to the list of AKC-registrable breeds if, in its opinion, sufficient evidence is presented to justify such action. There are a number of factors the Board considers in making this decision, including documentation that the breed in question has been breeding true for many generations, with accurate record keeping; evidence that there is sufficient interest in the breed throughout the United States; and a national club in place that meets AKC requirements to act as the parent club for the breed.
